Where Is Kamagra Actually Registered? A Country-by-Country Reality Check
Kamagra sells openly in exactly one market — India. Even in the Philippines, where Ajanta markets it locally, the FDA has warned the Oral Jelly is unregistered. The honest country-by-country picture.
Why “where is it legal?” has a short answer
A medicine is not globally approved or globally banned — each country’s regulator decides separately. For Kamagra the pattern is unusually clean: Ajanta Pharma has sought and obtained registration for Kamagra almost nowhere outside its home market. Where Ajanta wants to sell sildenafil in regulated markets, it registers plain generic sildenafil instead — including FDA-approved tablets in the United States.

The Philippines case is the most revealing
It would be easy to assume Ajanta’s Philippine Kamagra website means local approval. The opposite is documented: in 2022 the Philippine FDA issued Advisory No. 2022-1919, a public health warning against the purchase and use of “Sildenafil Citrate (Kamagra) Orange Flavour 100 mg Oral Jelly” as an unregistered drug product — following an earlier 2021 advisory covering more products. Marketing presence and regulatory registration are simply different things, even in the same country, even for the same company.
What this means in Singapore
Singapore’s position is the same as the West’s, with local teeth: sildenafil is prescription-only, no Kamagra product is registered with the Health Sciences Authority, and both selling and importing unregistered prescription medicines breach the Health Products Act. HSA publishes a running database of illegal health products found locally, and sexual-enhancement products feature in it constantly.
The mirror image also holds here: registered sildenafil exists everywhere Kamagra doesn’t. Viagra and HSA-registered generics are prescribed daily in Singapore at 25–100 mg — the same molecule, inside the accountable chain.
How to check a claim like this yourself
- Singapore: search HSA’s public register of therapeutic products.
- US: search the FDA NDC directory or Drugs@FDA.
- Philippines: search FDA advisories at fda.gov.ph.
- UK/EU/Australia: MHRA, EMA and TGA all run public product registers.
If a product does not appear in the register of the country you are standing in, it is not registered there — whatever the seller’s website says.
